Victorious Futures: 12.1.22

Welcome to Victorious Futures -our weekly update of players who have selected the Victorious Hockey Company to collaborate with them in the pursuit of advancing their hockey careers to the next level. Our goal is to help each prospect achieve his individual goals by continually monitoring and sharing their progress in both play and conditioning. This is where one can learn about our players’ most recent achievements, both on and off the ice, first-hand.

Each week our clients are tasked with the simple charge of providing an update to their progress. We invite you to follow their development here.

This week the coach instructed us to take the full week off practice and gym for Thanksgiving. He told us we needed the rest and to be honest I’m thankful for it as it’s given me the opportunity to rest and recharge. I did play two games last weekend, one league game in which I got an assist and one that was more of a favor out of respect for an old coach who had a short bench. That game was U18 AAA and I got two assists in that game.

WEEK: 2GP 0G, 3A, 3PT / TOTAL: 15GP 8G, 14A, 22PT

We had a triple header this past weekend. I had 2 games and ended up scoring my first 2 wins for this year and my first shutout and am pretty stoked about it. I recorded a .971 save percentage. Next weekend we are off to Vegas to play in the western hockey showcase.

Skated 3 times last week. 2 off ice workouts and a 2-mile run during the week. Feeling good and feel like I’m getting stronger and faster the past month and my games at a game spot

Sioux Falls Power 14u AAA

Last weekend we played many Minnesota teams and came out of our tournament in 2nd. A little disappointed about the outcome but I think we played well rounded games. I got 2 goals in the weekend and learned a lot about how these Minnesota teams play.

WEEK: 5GP, 2G 1A, 3 PT / TOTAL: 28GP, 6G 11A, 17 PT

Wenatchee u18

This week, I had the opportunity to practice and dress for the BCHL Wenatchee Wild team. They played against the Trail Smoke Eaters. It was an amazing opportunity, and I hope to be able to experience it again soon. This weekend, we played at the CCSHL Showcase in Vancouver Island. We lost our first game. I played the second game, we came out very slow and ended the 1st period down 4-0; but we battled back to get it close, letting up an empty net and losing 6-4.

TOTAL: 17GP, 2.518GAA, .926SV%, 8-4
