By Michael Moore
As of today, it is finally Fall! I mention that as I am all but allergic to summer. My northern roots and subsequent complexion were never meant for the roasting sun and humidity. Not to mention the Summers of my youth were often spent playing street hockey, to pass the time, until Fall and the start of hockey. And start, it has. Youth and Junior hockey are underway. Next week, the NCAA will begin anew. And inside of a month’s time, the big boys will retake the ice and the Avalanche will raise their banner. Needless to say, for us in the frozen family, Fall is a great deal more than Spirit Halloween Stores and pumpkin spiced Clorox.
