Remain Cautiously Optimistic About NCDC Western Expansion

When the United States Premier Hockey League announced the expansion of the NCDC last week to include six teams from the western states, I wanted to take a bit of time to gather my thoughts before stating an opinion.


First of all, I am always going to be in favor of the expansion of free to play junior hockey. How could I not be excited to see this group of six teams finally achieve what they have been working to accomplish for years?
