Ten Best: Reasons for American Prospects to Consider Canada’s Maritime Junior Hockey League

Young prospects are always considering options that provide the best path to the higher levels of junior and college hockey. One of the paths rookies should always consider is Canada. If the prospect is going to be skating a regular shift in United States Hockey League and North American Hockey League that’s a good choice.  

Playing Junior “A” hockey in Canada is almost always a better developmental option than any of the other choices here in the United States outside of the USHL and NAHL.
