With the Eastern Hockey League’s move outside the sanctioning of USA Hockey, the North American 3 Hockey League remains as the sanctioned only pay-to-play junior league in the United States.
Regardless, there are a number of teams that continue to operate outside the standards set by USA Hockey for the level of play. What are the best weapons the NA3HL and USA Hockey can utilize to keep these guys in line? Operator suspensions and revocation of player agreements would be a good start.
