Happiness, hurricanes, and all the comforts of home, bring your puck to Beaumont. Houston is an hour or so away, but a world apart. 

Beaumont never had a clue about the frozen game until plans for Ford Park were being drawn up, including the 8,200 seats (for hockey) Ford Arena.
