Eastern Hockey League Leaves USA Hockey

Numerous sources are reporting that the Eastern Hockey League has decided to move outside the sanctioning body of USA Hockey for the 2022-23 season and beyond.

The bold move leaves only the United States Hockey League (Tier I), North American Hockey League (Tier II), and North American 3 Hockey League (Tier III) as the only sanctioned junior hockey leagues in the United States.
