Ice Dogs Rob Proffitt’s Pants Are on Fire

While announcing the change of guard at the head coaching position, Fairbanks Ice Dogs (North American Hockey League) General Manager Rob Proffitt tried to ignore the fact that new bench boss, Dave Allison, was leaving the bench of Allison’s hometown Canadian Junior “A” hockey club for the job in Alaska.

Simply said, the press release was completely dishonest. Worse yet, the Fairbanks News-Miner and North American Hockey League both pushed the story out as factual. Now there are some good folks in Canada that are crying foul, and I understand why.
